Following up on earlier ideas Twitter is primarily monologue, then there is regurgitation of monologues (aka RT) — what ELSE is there?

BTW: Does anyone know of a way to “reverse” links on the web — like an app that creates backlinks on the fly? (e.g. enter a link + a number X, then the application creates a set of pages up to X links back from that link [perhaps also limited to up to Y days])? I think that would be kinda neat-o!

How to Find Traffic Exchange Lists

If you want to increase traffic to your website, do you look up to find someone else’s list?

No: You build your own list!

To succeed in growing your business activity, you should maintain lists of web sites where you engage and promote your services + offers.

How to make your own traffic exchange list

First, figure out what target audience (or target audiences) you’re trying to reach (for more about this, see Website Articles + Article Writing Services need to get target audience in order to win targeted traffic).

Then you build lists of web sites that are devoted to those topics, and visit them regularly to network with your community (or communities).

Shopping links: Online shops can exchange links with other small business websites to promote business networks + networking

Shops, stores + businesses in general keep getting smaller and smaller — so they need to network more and more

Note that it’s not necessary or even useful to use so-called free reciprocal link exchange services or offers — on the contrary, links that are entirely unrelated will only irritate your site’s visitors (and that would not exactly lead to great business success ;) ).

What you need to link to are related websites — so if your website is a site to buy + sell cars, then links to websites that offer car paint jobs might be useful to your users.

The more networks you build, the easier you can be found

If you’re using the web, then networks need not be local. Again, if you’ve got used cars for sale in New York City, then a used car shop in Los Angeles is not really a close competitor.

For example, take a look at the pilates-portland.com website: it lists not only the best offers for Pilates in Portland, Oregon — it also lists offers for Pilates and Yoga courses and other top websites in the area of Portland, Oregon and also in the Portland, Maine area.

To increase targeted traffic, your link exchange program needs to build links with top businesses
